Are you drinking yourself fat?

Okay so if you know me you know I really enjoy my margaritas, especially when they are on sale for 99 cents! However, I hit a plateau in my weight loss and realized it was probably from what I was drinking, especially on the weekends.  So I am challenging myself to not drink during my P90X3 challenge, that's right NO drinks for 90 days! I want to see how much it affects my progress which I am sure will be a tremendous amount.  I just wanted to put that out there, saying it publicly will help me stay accountable :)
So what do you drink daily ? I know I used to drink Diet Mt. Dew like it was my job.  I drank it all day and thought hey it is better than drinking a regular coke and man was I wrong, but that topic is a whole other blog post.
Water is definitely the best choice but I know making that transition is not easy. Trust me, I was there. I love my coffee and caffeine so it was not the easiest thing to cut out but slowly I started to just cut back until I wasn't craving cokes or coffee anymore.  Occasionally I will still hit up Starbucks but it isn't a daily stop for me anymore because I ask myself if it is worth the 300 plus empty calories.
You could loes up to 10 lbs. per year by just cutting out sugary drinks, that's without even exercising! Think about what you could do if you incorporated Shakeology, clean eating and exercise into your routine every day.  HELLO SUMMER BODY!!
